Brocker I 726 Environmental protection/Economic theory/Ostrom: Initial question: How can resources that are self-organised and shared by many actors be regulated in such a way that they are preserved for their users and subsequent generations? Brocker I 727 Ostrom's thesis: Public goods (jointly used goods, social goods) can often be managed successfully and sustainably by their users themselves, without the mandatory need for state supervision or individually shared private property. (1) Brocker I 738 VsOstrom: Ostrom's analyses refer to organisational forms with less than 15,000 participants.
